It was a great trip all and all.
The drive both ways was scenic for me as Jay did all the driving.
I can't believe all the wild Lupine beside the roads this year – beautiful
Mom was a bit nuts, understandably. She drove me a bit nuts. I did my best to keep my mouth shut.
Hard to watch Grandma miss her husband so much. I can’t imagine.
I wrote it out in more detail but it got long and rambling quickly. So I saved it and wrote this.
I’m glad to have the nuts and bolts of it behind us.
Today was spent digging out my desk. It looked pretty bad, but by mid afternoon I had it pretty much sorted out. Beth Ann had taken most of the bills off my desk and entered them, which was sweet and really helpful. I’m down to some mind numbing payroll data entry then I’ll be caught up in the morning.
It was a really good trip actually. I’m feeling quite introspective. Which is always good.
Right ?
I wish I had a hot tub.
I’m gonna go check out what you’ve all been up to.

Your right. Introspective is always good. And love is good...I love you.
Your Girl
I popped this blog posts cherry first!!!
Laugh Out Lolli
Oh man. A hot tub would be so awesome. Even a jacuzzi tub would be nice.
A little introspection is usually a good thing.
Brad, I am glad you are home safe and sound, and that your grandfather was properly honored--even if it took forever and a day for it all to occur. It is so hard to see others suffer so; it always hurts my heart so when there is not much I can do to make it better.
Thank you for the update. How are you feeling? Be well.
It's good to have you back. And you're right btw.
I'm so glad it was a good trip. With food for thought.
I grew lupines years ago, and should do it again. I don't really see them in the garden centers, and they do grow wild in this neck of the woods.
We're really waiting on that camera, Brad. BTW, my daughter found her lost Cannon, lost since St. Patrick's Day, under the seat of her Dad's car. How great was that?
That is a wonderful way to put it..the nuts and bolts of it behind you....
you do sound much better and I'm glad you had Jay with you as you made your journey for the service.
I witness loneliness whenever I spend time and see my grandma..it's so hard to mend a broken heart especially after years and years of marriage.
Happy almost friday.. :)
E~
I'm glad you had a good trip. It sounds like you're ready to get back into your routine. When is your doctor's appointment?
Introspection is always good. It's my favorite pastime.
Our hot tub went cold on us this week. Just up and quit. We could probably get it repaired, but it's lasted us eighteen years and we never did put the six to eight people in it that it was built for. So yesterday we bought a new one: for two.
I would love a hot tub. Do they make apt size ones?
Glad to hear that overall the trip went well. I can't imagine being with somone for so many years and losing them.
Introspective....always good.
I'm glad you are back and almost caught up. You said you wrote longer posts and then discarded them - try writing about just one incident at a time. Then it won't seem like rambling - but you know we all love to read, rambling or not.
I would have loved to see the wild lupines. I bought some at Windmill gardens to plant in my garden this year.
Glad you are back sweatpea - we all missed you.
lovins,
fiwa
I'm so glad you're back! Get caught up and then we can chat. I'm doing better at getting on messenger in the evenings......
Glad to hear your back home safely and that the trip is over and it went okay. Now you can just remember the happy times.
May your day today be a happy one.
