I'm feeling better but still kinda weak like a kitten not having eat much in the past couple of days. Jay's been taking good care of me.
The writing on the wall can't get much bigger. Time for a full physical when I get back from Oregon. I think this has happen (tummy troubles for a few days in a row) like three times this year. I'll make appointment when I get home.
I went into work this morning to sort out my desk and get invoices out the door since I won't be back till Webnesday (typo, but I like it and am leaving it) next week. I was up half the night (by half I mean all) worrying about what's not getting done in the office. It was good thing I went in because NOTHING is getting done in the office. I got caught up and should be good till Wednesday but Wed. we bill a bit busy
I checked Google Reader just now and gulped when it came up with 75 unread posts. You all have been busy these last few days. I'm going to attempt to check in with you all today & tomorrow.
Other than that it's a beautifully sunny day today. The weather was good to me when i was feeling bad and staid pretty much cloudy. I hate feeling sick on a sunny day.
I'm still going on about being sick - I'll shut up about that.
What else do I got ? yeah, the funeral. Ain't I fun ? I've been trying to help Mom get her thoughts written down for the eulogy but haven't been much help since Tuesday. Glad I got my bit done last week. I'll go over tonight and work on what she's got down while I was 'out'.
It will be good to see my whole family maternal family and even my crazy wanton Aunties from my father side. I think we've all had plenty of time do the grieving we needed to and now it can be a real celebration of life. Wonder if that was planned ? I'll have to ask.
The trip should provide some good blog fodder so I'll have something up beat for you all when I get back. I can always count on family to give me funny stories to share. So this blog has had a grey cloud over it for weeks. I'll shape up here soon.
And to all of you who I owe snail mail to - I haven't forgot it's all stacked up nicely here waiting for me to get my act together. I'll get to it next week.
Thanks for the support guys - love ya

Yeah, it might be a good idea to check with the doc since this problem keeps coming back on you. Be sure not to overdo it though dude.
A shame your Oregon trip couldn't be more pleasant this time, Brad. And double-shame that my vacation out West this year will NOT have me visiting Mom in Oregon; she instead will come down to Vegas to visit all of us and the newest addition to the family, my niece now 3 months old.
Sure hope you are feeling better soon. Tummy troubles are NOT fun at all. Mine usually hit when abroad--even worse.
Be well, Brad. Thinking of you.
Thinking of you friend. I hope you get some good care and get to feeling better. I know all too well what feeling ill is like. Thank you for your comment today. It thrilled me to death! Take care, Brad!!!!
do things gently, brad. and we have a book of pretty chickens waiting to go to you. give it a few more weeks and we'll get down the post office... we know how life takes its time around here.
Glad to hear you're feeling better. Going to be checked out is wise so don't forget.
Travel safely and enjoy your family.
I'm glad Jay is taking good care of you - stomach problems are the worst. The thing I like to eat most when I feel like that is a baked potato with just a little butter and salt.
I hope you can relax now that you've done a little ketchup at work. It's not going to go anywhere, it will all be fine for a couple of days.
I hope you enjoy the celebration of Grandpa's life with your family. Kisses and hugs - fiwa
My Google Reader was 109. Yow! I'm catching up, though.
Have a good safe trip and a happy time celebrating your grandad's life with your family. Family's what it's all about...the one's we're born into and the ones we make. Love ya.
Yea for the decision to have things checked over in you stomach region, it just makes good sense, you know?
Try and enjoy the family during this visit, we all take so much for granted and put the really important things on the back burner. Your work will be waiting for you, right now, it's about the fam.
Feel better!!
Hugs.
ps - I LOVE the idea you had for a new name for my blog, I will have to seriously think about changing it.
:)
Yes, get to the doctor.
Like I've got nagging rights.
Ha!
So glad you're getting back to normal!!!! Sending good happy feel better thoughts your way, dang I'm usually not this cheerful early in the morning. Drop by to visit, I have exciting news coming up....
First, Love you too.
Second, I am glad you are starting to feel better.
Third, I am sorry more is not getting done in your absence at the office.
Fourth, Enjoy the celebration of life.
Fifth, travel safe.
Sixth, I am anxious to hear all about your experiences while dealing with this unfortunate time.
Seventh, just for giggles, I overheard a little girl tell her friend on the playground she was wearing underwear today...her big girl superpower, princess undies to be exact. Don't you just love the innocence of youth?
It's no wonder you are having tummy problems, with this kind of trip ahead of you, although I do think it's a good idea to go to the doctor as soon as you can as well.
I'm not going to say have a good trip, but I am going to wish you a peaceful trip.
Take Care,
OC
i'm just checkin in.
i hope things get better in your world.. i know things seem heavy when so much is going on-- and it seems to never fail to bring ya down health wise does it.
it's hard to catch up-- but you will.
and life will be normal.
glad you have jay to help you in this time.
take care.
have a good day--
hey, stranger.
i hope you are feeling better today.
xoxoxo
Hope you're feeling better real soon and also that you have a safe trip. Don't neglect yourself sweetie...you have to think about #1 a little more after you pass 40...(sorry, but its true). So, big hugs and talk to you soon! P.S. Worrying is not good for tummies....remember that.
just checking in to see how you are feeling and to spread some good vibes...take care of YOU.
Thinking of you today. Be well.
Good idea to have a check-up.
Look forward to hearing some of your family stories. Too bad you all weren't meeting under happier circumstances.
I've gotten a bit behind on blog reading too and hope to catch up today.
just sayin hello-- :))
I MISS YOU!!!! sniff
My stomach is my vulnerable area as well. I think I process stress there. I hope you will enjoy seeing all your family. It's quite amazing how a death can elicit so much love.
