Fiwa & I met up this morning for Dim-Sum. Mo was going to join us but has been on dead-line at work and missed a crucial email and wasn't able to join us. We'll regroup later for another lunch.
My Dear fiwa is just as lovely as you find her in her writing. It's nice to meet someone who's so real. The food was only so-so but it didn't matter as we we're too busy yaking. We finished up lunch and went shopping at Uwajimaya's. We both bought Kim-Chee and fiwa turned me on too coconut cream rolls (awesome) and we found a roasted chestnut vendor outside the stores south door. (it was a subject of conversation a week or so ago, the lack of good street vendors in our fair hamlet)
After shopping we did this:
fiwa's shy about her pic being on the net so please forgive us. It was a great day.

well, beggars can't be choosers, right?
i will take you & your socks and her converse anyday.
brad, this post made me so happy. you guys need each other, like in real life. *squee*
xoxoxo
Sounds like a great day. I love her pink shoes!
And let me tell you, he is every bit as sweet & gentlemanly as he seems. I looked for angel wings on his back (the vinnie story) but I think he must have worn them UNDER his shirt yesterday.
love ya sweetpea!
Sounds like a great day. It is awesome meeting blogger friends in person. You really do feel like you are meeting old friends!!
Well I'm pretty darn jealous of this! I'm sure that was a really fun time!
Great day for friends to enjoy together. I followed the link to Uwajimaya's and found a couple of great recipes. Solved my "What do I prepare for gathering day food?" Now it's off the the Fresh Market for ingredients.
what a great day! i want to meet blog friends in person too! unfortunately you would all find out that i am a 3-headed green blob from the planet zorgon.
OK I was lying about that to make myself sound interesting.
i could always talk about my allergies.
That sounds like a great time Brad! Fiwa is an awesome person. Thanks for your comments the past few days. They meant a helluva lot to me and I appreciate them. Take care and I will talk to you again soon.
PS -- Finally got you plugged into Google Reader so I can read from know on!
sounds great-- glad you two had a good time.
happy sunday
Over here from fiwa's to see what you are about.
Another local!
What I loved about meeting Happyone was that I knew so much about her beforehand. We felt like old friends and talked non-stop. Bonnie I already knew from my salon, but again I knew so much more than the things we talked about during our 30 minute time slot.
I see you solved the profile picture thing. I don't think you got the centering. Do you have your e-mail address here? Hmm...I'm going to look.
Glad you had a good day. Did you really get kissed, or was that just a snappy title? And Grit actually IS a 3 headed green blob from the planet Zorgon. But don't let on - we let her think she mingles in quite well.
Hey, the globe's in the middle! Well done!
Another connection in Blogland. That is so neat! I love the pink Converse. Thats awesome. I'm glad you all had a great time. Take care!
Do over. I want a do over!
Glad you both had a great time and understand about my work getting in the way of the fun.
I gotta call you out for a moment though. Saturday was nice enough for the socks to be left behind. ;)
Love you. Mean it.
That is so awesome, you are so fortunate to live near our blog friends. I love the photo of your feet...socks and sandals and all!
Have a happy week!
Sounds like you two had a great time!
