It might have happened slowly over time. But I've just started to realize it over the last few weeks.
My IHD (Inner Horn Dog) seems to be lost. It seems like he was around the other day, but thinking back maybe he's been off the farm longer than I know.
Partner's IHD seems to have wandered off about the same time, I suspect. At least I haven't heard him yelping.
It's really ok. It's fine with me. It's nice to not 'hear' the 'puppies' barking all the time. As a 'puppy owner' I'm kind of relieved.
- No more jumping up every time 'something' moves.
- No more embarrassing social situations when Pups attentions are too forward.
- No more messes in inconvenient places.
- No more straining on the leash at any passing 'attraction'.
- No more waking up at 1:00 am to let the 'dog out'.
I feel a bit bad for the ISK's (Inner Sex Kittens). I'm sure we IHD's get off easier than we ever know.
UPDATE: Partner begs to differ. Some dogs still howl. Must be a pitch this dog can't hear any longer.

I have to agree, some days, it IS harder to find my ISK than it used to be, think it's age?
My husband has yet to lose his IHD, and that can create a problem or two at times.

I think sometimes ISP/ISK just hibernates for awhile. It will be spring soon, that'll get your juices flowin'.

My ISK packed her bags and got outta Dodge a long time ago. Every couple years or so I may get a post card. Sigh ~

Sorry bout your lost dog. Have you thought of posting a reward? Or is that illegal in Washington? I think I've seen those horn dogs here at carnivals. You eat them on a stick. Nasty.
