I had root canal #1 this morning. The did the one that was really hurting. The second one gets done on the 14th. I didn't realize it was a problem till I went into the dentist so it's not painful.
Happyone reports that her husband had a root canal with no meds and no pain! What? If I had the airfare I'd be coming out to see her dentist. The Doc that did the root canal was great but I've never had one pain free. I didn't remember the reaming out the nerve/root part as being so for lack of a better word rough.
Cheryl, it was a two part process because it was infected and they had to knock down the infection before the procedure.
Have we all heard enough about my teeth. Or me being on drugs? Yup - Vicodin this time - I just got home and had a yogurt and popped one of those babies before the Novocaine wears off.
I wish I had something more to tell you but that's been my day.
I promise I won't do another post till I have a genuine subject to post about.
Or I'll get back on here and leave more drugged up drivel.
Now go brush your teeth.

Glad the first one went well.
I remember after I had my bout of dental work done in '06 I was a mad woman when it came to brushing and flossing.
These days not as mad but definitely a priority.
Here's to hoping the second one is just as good as the first.
Oh, and you are a smart man taking the pain pill early.
You don't have to stop talking about your root canals. It's a big deal! Hope you're feeling no pain.

Hope you're feeling well and that the drugs do what they are supposed to. In a few weeks you will forget all about your teeth! Won't that be a relief!
I hope you're feeling better today Brad. My tooth didn't hurt before I went in so the root canal could have been worse. I believe this is a legitimate topic. Pain is real.
