I'm going to pay for this...

I woke up this morning feeling pretty woozie from all the drugs I took yesterday. Not that I didn't take them on the prescribed schedule. Jay went off to work and i laid back down on the couch. The pain is still there but some how has moved to the other side of my jaw. The really did a number on my jaw joints. I woke up again at 8:00 (garbage day and those truck ain't quite) called to office and Beth Ann told me in no uncertain words to stay home. So I figured what the hec. The office is slow. I have no pressing work to do. So I stayed home yet again, and took the second of the last pain pills. I'll just have to tough it out after their gone by why sit here in pain while I still have them?

Jay's probably going to have a conniption fit but, but, but

Oh hell - it is was it is. He's just going to have to understand. I know his job is 10 times harder than mine and it must be really tough to know I'm just laying around (blogging) but I can't change that. And there was once upon a time when I made the big bucks and he didn't have to work at all for 2 years. I guess I'm just feeling a bit guilty for being a lay-about. If I had big pressing concerns to do at work I'd muster myself and get on it, but I don't. They can forward the phones here to the house if it gets nuts. I can handle that.

OK, pretty boring post so far. I think I'll end it and go read your blogs and then maybe go work in the garden. The pain pill has kicked in and I'm feeling no pain at the moment. I'm sure my body will retaliate later.

Hope your having fun what ever your doing.

Not boring just honest. Be careful of gardening on pain pills - you might find a surprise when the pain and pills are gone.

Hope this ordeal is over soon. Pain is no fun.

You shouldn't feel quilty about taking the day off. It's not like you don't have a reason.
Now that your pain pill kicked in, just enjoy your day off. :-)

Just be sure not to operate any heavy machinery while your taking those pills. Like that DR Field and Brush Mower. You know, that thing they show in the commercials where the dude is basically mowing down a Redwood Tree in like 3.2 seconds? Yeah, don't operate one of those things.

Aww...poor Boo.....I hate it that you're still hurting. that's just wrong. After the pills are gone, I highly reccomend a nice wine or my personal favorite( nector-of-the-Gods) 7&7!! Works wonders for keeping the pain at bay.
Scratch and a pat to Lily and Bear!

i know the sting of lazy very well... don't let it get to ya-- it's just jealousy on the other end-- and not your problem. so hey-- you can't help it if you are in pain-- or on pills....pop another, get back on the couch... and chill out -- at least til you're out of pills and can't enjoy it anymore.
:))
hope you feel better real soon..

Hey Baby...I'm home. I hope you're feeling ok tonight.

I see that you had a visitor from Stoneville NC. I have relatives there! So strange.

Miss talking to you.

I'm so sorry you are still hurting. I'm glad you have something to take the edge off. And it's ok to be at home, especially when you're hurting.

Our garbage truck woke up all my kids and I ... after we all went to bed really late. That truck was almost bombed. Grr.

For cryin' out loud, would you just give yourself a break?

We have SO much in common---the reason I understand exactly how you are feeling is that I am just like this...I am not capable of taking it easy on ME. But it's always so much easier to see it it in others.

If you're still in so much pain, I think you should call your dentist to see if that's normal. I remember what it was like after my wisdom teeth were taken out. I was in so much pain for so long. When I called and went back in, they found I had an infection. That's why you should call. Just to see if your pain is normal.

Anyhow, too bad I live so far away. We're coast to coast. Your new neighbor looks like a nice guy. Too young for me, but, I do like younger guys.

the mouth is a very sensitive place with so many nerves running happily within your gums..I understand why you would feel guilty, but I hope that that uneasy guilted feeling disappears so that you may focus on the most importants right now: healing your mouth.

rest and gargle. :)
