Such a beautiful picture. I love that animals can cross the supposed "line" and love outside their own species. For some reason, it reminds me of a story:
I once had good friends that had a cat and a bird. A parakeet, i think. Anyway, this cat and bird had a real relationship. The bird would fly down and ride on the cat, for hours at a time. It would sit on his head, or his back. It was an oddity to be sure, so someone called the local paper to tell them, for a human-interest piece. A reporter scheduled a time to come and take a photo for the paper. The big day arrived, the reporter arrived and they opened the cage door to let the little parakeet out-as expected the little bird flew down for his daily ride. Of course, you know what happened...as the reporter raised her camera to take the shot---the cat turned around and in one quick swoop - ate the bird. True story. tee hee...I'm not sure why that popped into my head, but I thought you might enjoy. Hugs, and happy Monday.

Why are there several posts on here that haven't shown up on my blogger list? How frustrating! I'm sorry friend!!
I love this pic by the way. The love and camaraderie between the two is beautiful!
