I woke up on the couch this morning. I'd fallen asleep watching a movie. Jay woke me up watching 'The Bodyguard' in the kitchen so I woke up hearing "And I will always love youuuuuuuuuuu' Not good.
Jay's outside with his Goatie girls. The two, Belle & Bess were just up on the back porch and came in to the kitchen for a looks-see. They seem to think were livin large in here and their goatie barn pales in comparison. Miss Lilly was not impressed. Bear couldn't be bothered to mind, he's easy going being a golden retriever and all.
I'll be upstairs today sorting out what used to be the office (now that the computer's been moved here into what was the dining room) and ditching plenty of the contents I'm sure. We'll move our bed into the office so Jay can start the remodel on our bedroom and the den. I suppose I should come up with a plan and some paint colors before he gets too far. I want him to blow out the wall between our bedroom and the den since we rarely even use that room anymore and it would add light to the bedroom. He seems to think the wall is holding up the roof. Whatever. Can you say 'header' honey ?
I need to book our hotel for Salem, Still working on Jay (read: slowly working him down) to extend the trip and going to Cannon Beach and hooking up w/ Kelly Jean & Family for a bit before we have to go to Salem for Grandpa's service.
Jay and I are on vacation this Monday & Tuesday, it's hard to take a full week off with the business.
It's a wonderful Sunday - weather is great - should be in the high 70's - I think I'll go read the paper on the front porch. If I was a dog I'd be wagging my tail fast. Feeling Good!

How funny to have the goats come right in the kitchen. :-)
I just might spend some of my time today out on the porch too.
I hope you take some before and after pics of the remodeling work. The wall is holding the roof up? So? What's his point? haha
Actually, come to think of it, have you ever posted any pics of the house and the farm animals? Yeah, I know I could go back through the archives and find out, but it would be much less effort for you to tell me. ;-)
Aaaaaaaaaand I just remembered that your camera got swiped. Uh ... sorry. My bad.
That would be wonderful if you can meet up with her!!
I hope that Whitney isn't stuck in your head and your not all dusty or hot pocketety. :)
Have a great Sunday, I'm off to prepare for that meal I told you about-so I'll chat with you later-
Always,
Elizabeth
I was just going to ask you the same thing Jay asked you...about posting pix of your house and place. I'd love to see it! Any place where the goats can come in the kitchen is my kinda place! I want to move to the country sooooo bad!
I hope your family is okay and it sounds like your Grandma is doing pretty well after the loss of your Grandpa. It's always so sad when a couple has been together for so long and one of them dies. :(
Hope you're well!
I'm so excited! If you guys can get down there early, what an addition to an already fabulous vacation!
If you or Jay need any remodeling pointers, don't forget whose husband is in the business. There's no cost for excellent advice.
I agree with Jay, though. If you can get your mitts on a camera, some befores and afters would be neato.
I need to do some painting around here. I have a color idea in my head but that's as far as I've gotten. Sweet dreams tonight.
the day i wake up with goats in y kitchen--i am afraid won't be a good day-- for anyone concerned.. :))
glad to hear you're havin a good day--
i want a remodel-- i hate my kitchen.
g'nite-
I could have sworn I left a comment earlier today??? I'm so glad and excited that you'll see Kelly and her family!
Are you any closer to deciding on a camera?
Goats? You have goats?
How cool!
Happy Monday! :)
Soul, not to rain in Brads box, but your comment cracked me up! I laughed my rear off!!! :)
HAppy almost tuesday!
Thank GOODNESS!
Always,
Elizabeth
I think it's so awesome that you get to hook up with Kelly Jean - aren't blog friends just the best thing ever?
