You are all very kind. Thanks for all the love. It really does help.
I'm doing much better today. The shock has worn off and now it's just very sad. I decided to channel the energy into something positive and write stories for Dede's daughter Emily. I want to give her some of the fun times and crazy things Dede and I did as kids. Dawn and Crustybeef nudged me in this direction, and they're right.
On another note, My two dear Aunties are now reading my blog! Waconda Queen signed on to comments today. (Auntie 'B') She's set up a blogger profile but I don't see a blog yet. I'll have to work on her. Auntie 'M' is here as well. - Two of the funniest, wild, wanton women I've ever had the pleasure of being related to.
But watch them, they're tricky ! You've been warned.

Stories for Emily - what a wonderful idea. Good for you and good for Emily. Maybe we will get to hear some of them too?
I'm glad you're feeling a little better today.
Keeping you in my heart.

What a gift you'll be giving Dede's daughter Emily. I think it's just wonderful. Dede will thank you.

brad, i am so glad that your heart is a tad bit lighter. maybe, get a bound journal and start a memorybook of sorts, chocked full of photos or memories and her favorite things.
