The Cascades
"And when the last Red Man shall have perished, and the memory of my tribe shall have become a myth among the White Men, these shores will swarm with the invisible dead of my tribe, and when your children's children think themselves alone in the field, the store, the shop, upon the highway, or in the silence of the pathless woods, they will not be alone. In all the earth there is no place dedicated to solitude. At night when the streets of your cities and villages are silent and you think them deserted, they will throng with the returning hosts that once filled them and still love this beautiful land. The White Man will never be alone."

Morning love - How ya doing ?
Volunteer park is one of my favorite places in Seattle. I love the conservatory and the poor man's space needle.
Man, you keep this up and we're gonna have visitors this summer! :)
Now please tell me that you are not prejudiced against the Ballard locks? That is one of my favorite things to do on my birthday. Go to the Locks and then go to Madame K's in Ballard.
What ? you forgot the Totem House Sefood ?
I LOVED THESE TOO!
Tell Partner to prepare the guest rooms, the crusty5 are heading on in!!
The water fall is so relaxing, all I'd need is some books, sbux and I'm golden!
Happy Sunday!
Sincerely,
Crusty~
Is that the place on the ballard side of the locks, where the road kinda bends? I have never eaten there, is it good?

i love armchair traveling.
fiwa, I haven't been in a while but it used to be THE BOMB.
Breath taking and serene.
I hope your Monday was a good one.
Thanks Brad! We ate at the restaurant for breakfast. It served up a crazy number of dishes. We had our own little room with a window overlooking the falls. It left a lasting memory.
Count me in with Crusty. We'll be 6.
