My dear friend Dede died yesterday. Her husband called me to tell me but couldn't really go into detail and still keep it together. I'm not sure what the hell happened. They have a 12 year old daughter Emily - a brilliant child.
Dede was my girlfriend in high school - we were together even after I came out. We lived together off and on thru our early 20's - We've always told each other that we raised eachother. She was a very, very dear friend - the kinda friend that could finish my sentences but I didn't mind cuz I knew she'd get it right. I can't believe it. And my heart breaks for her husband Rusty. She was only 45.
I Love you Dede, I'll cry a thousand tears for you.

Oh sweets, I'm so sorry to hear that. Poor Emily - my heart breaks for any girl loosing her mother so early.

Oh gosh, Brad, my sympathy goes to you guys...I don't know what to say...but as a mom, my heart is breaking for her daughter...you have a life long bit of memories of her...I hope you can help her daughter! and husband!

Life isn't fair at all! it's always the ones that have been the most loving to us that we lose.I'm so so sorry.

OMG Brad I am so very very sorry for you loss. It's so damn hard to handle a loss of such a close friend. But my sweet nephew you come from some very tough stock so I'm sure you will be able to remember all the good times you guys had over the years very soon.I think I met her when I was at your other place, very sweet girl.
